Incident Summary:
Skiplino experienced a partial service disruption due to a global outage in Microsoft Azure, our cloud infrastructure provider. The issue stemmed from a misconfiguration in Azure Front Door (AFD), which led to degraded performance across multiple services.
Customer Impact:
Users may have encountered slow response times, failed requests, or temporary unavailability of services during the incident window.
Resolution:
Microsoft rolled back the faulty configuration and rerouted traffic through healthy nodes. Skiplino services gradually recovered and returned to full functionality by early October 30.
Next Steps:
Our engineering team is working with Microsoft to review the incident and implement additional safeguards to minimize future risks.
